Sinsal Son Estrella Galicia comes back to San Simón in 2016

Three days of music and unforgettable experiences surrounded by the Atlantic. Sinsal Son Estrella Galicia Festival comes back to San Simón Island (Redondela) in 2016. Declared as “2015 best small size festival” on the last Edition of the Premios Fest, is held on 22, 23 and 24 July. Music inhabits the island for three days shaping a poster that has been secret to the public for the last editions. A festival model that has trapped artists and public since the start — in 2016 news related to food, transport and access to a public under 16 years will be launched.

Sinsal Son Estrella Galicia Festival is held at San Simón Island, in the heart of the Rías Baixas and in a unique location for its natural wealth. The public comes to the island on boats chartered by the organization, in a journey that lasts half an hour and becomes the first experience of the festival. The limited capacity in a space to enjoy and respect as San Simón Island is, makes this festival an event very far from the agglomeration capacity concept. A daytime and very friendly festival in which musicians and organizers feel close to the public; a festival that encourages the participation of the youngest members of the family.

Sinsal Son Estrella Galicia Festival has led to the island in previous editions artists such as Alt-J, L´Enfance Rouge, Hoquets, Jacco Gardner, Mdou Moctar, Chelsea Wolfe, Baden Baden, Owen Pallett, Wire and All We Are, among others. . The concept of the festival is to compose a poster of musicians coming from different continents who define the sounds of today, who soon and so often become the headliners of the most prestigious festivals in Europe. San Simón is their talisman!
